When do entries open for the event?
Entries officially open for the Vhi Womens Mini Marathon on 28th February 2019. You can register to become a Chime Champion from February to April by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling our Fundraising Manager on 01 817 5700.
How much is it to enter the event?
It costs €25 per person to enter, and the entry fee is payable to Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon.
Where do I sign up?
To enter and sign up for your unique event number, visit www.vhiwomensminimarathon.ie. Look out for entry forms in The Herald throughout March too.
I want to be a Chime Champion! How do I register?
You can register as a Chime Champion by emailing email@example.com or calling our Fundraising Manager on 01 817 5700. We ask our Chime Champions to aim for a minimum €250 as part of our Mini Marathon fundraising campaign. Don't forget you can walk the event with friends, or you can run it alone - it's your call!
When and where is the Mini Marathon happening?
The event is on the Bank Holiday Sunday, 2nd June 2019 and starts at 2pm from Fitzwilliam Street Upper. The course is well marked with lots of support along the way. You'll finish on Baggot Street Lower, Dublin. We'll host a Chime event for our Chime Champions, details of which will be revealed closer to the time.
What distance is the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon?
The Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon is a 10 kilometre event. Walk, Jog, Run - it's up to you!
How do I enter a group with Vhi?
You can enter 25 people using the Vhi Online Entry System. For groups larger than 25 people, you can either enter them in batches of 25 or else contact the office on 01 2930984 and the Vhi crew can help you.
How do I register a group of Chime Champions?
You can register your Group by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01 817 5700. Groups of 25 or more have a reduced individual fundraising target of €200 per person.
What is the minimum age to enter and register for the event?
The minimum age to enter the event is 14 years of age. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate and start in the under 60 minute wave e.g. complete the event at a runner's pace (This is an AAI ruling). For more information on this, visit www.vhiwomensminimarathon.ie
What does a Chime Champion receive?
As a Champion you will receive a Chime T Shirt, Chime pen, a Donation Card, How to Set up an iDonate page and helpful fundraising tips. We will hold a special event on the day, where all our Champions can come together to celebrate their achievements.
