Are you just starting out on your journey as a young Deaf person or are you part of a family with Deaf children? You could be a Hard of Hearing Adult, or maybe you have a cochlear implant? At Chime you’ll find a social group that will suit you. Come and meet some like-minded people, discover their stories, and share your own. Our social groups are relaxed and inclusive, and everyone is always welcome. Getting involved is easy, just pick a social group that sounds like the right fit for you.

Community Outreach Clinic

Wherever you are in the country, Chime is here for you. Our Outreach Clinics are located across Ireland, so that even if you’re not close to a Chime Resource Centre, you can still enjoy all the benefits of Chime’s expertise, from audiology screening and information to technical advice, emotional support and much, much more.

Activities and workshops

From information and education to inspiration and entertainment, there is a Chime activity or workshop for you to enjoy. You could head out on a fun day trip or drop into a creative workshop, meet other parents and children at a Newly Diagnosed Weekend or maybe you’d prefer to learn more at a hearing loss information session or even take part in a unique, action packed summer camp. There’s so many things to do, you’ll find an activity or workshop to suit you at Chime.

  • Our events page has listings of all our social groups, events, activities and workshops. We keep it up to date by adding new events once details, like location and times, are finalised.

  • You can get in touch with info@chime to find more details about an event or workshop if you can’t find what you’re looking for on our events page.

  • All  of our social groups, are facilitated by a Chime team member who is fluent in ISL. All of our workshops, activities and events will have an ISL interpreter.

  • Yes our events are accessible. For example our event spaces are equipped with Induction Loop systems (which enable Hard of Hearing people to hear directly via their hearing aid) as well as listening devices suitable for Hard of Hearing people with hearing aids.
