Having a Hearing Aid Fitted

At a fitting appointment, our audiologists will show you how to fit your new hearing aids and will program your new hearing aids to your individual hearing needs. We may also make some adjustments to make sure you are comfortable with the sound levels and that you are ready to take your new hearing aids home. It will take no more than an hour and is just another step towards living a life unlimited.

We’re here to support you on your journey to improved hearing health. We’ll tell you what to expect when first wearing your new hearing aid and guide you through the new sounds you will begin to experience. We’ll advise you on hearing aid maintenance at home so you can enjoy continued, enjoyable conversations. Following your initial fitting, we’ll schedule two additional appointments with our audiology team to check in with you and make adjustments to your hearing aid, if needed.

As part of your overall hearing healthcare programme, we’ll schedule an annual hearing check, where your audiologist will continue to monitor your hearing levels, make any adjustments needed, and ensure you continue to get maximum benefits from your hearing aids.

If you’ve any questions about acquired hearing loss and hearing aids, contact us today and talk to one of our friendly team members.
