0 0 Cost of Disability – Strategic Focus Network Summit Thursday 14 May 2026 In April, Chime submitted its recommendations to the Department of Social Protection as part of the national consultation on the Cost of Disability. Chime’s Orla Dempsey represented our community at the Cost of Disability – Strategic Focus Network Summit in the Aviva Stadium, alongside Government Ministers and disability sector leaders, continuing the important conversation on recognising and addressing the real cost of disability in Ireland. We welcome the ongoing commitment to progressing this vital work and ensuring Deaf and hard of hearing people’s experiences are part of shaping future supports.
