Cost of Disability Submission to the Department of Social Protection

We are pleased to share that we have sent our final submission to the Department of Social Protection as part of the public consultation on the Cost of Disability.

This submission reflects the lived experiences, challenges, and additional financial pressures faced by people with disabilities, and highlights the urgent need for meaningful policy action to address these inequities.

In addition to our individual submission, we were proud to collaborate on a joint submission with the National Disability Services Association (NDSA).

We would like to thank everyone who contributed their insights and experiences to inform this important work. We will continue to advocate for fair and adequate supports and will keep you updated on any developments arising from this consultation.
