This supportive weekend gives families the opportunity to meet other parents who are at a similar stage, connect with Chime staff and learn more about hearing loss, communication, supports and services available to your family. 📅 When Friday, 9 October – Sunday, 11 October 2026 📍 Where Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise 🎟️ Book Visit the Events page on our website to secure your place. The weekend is heavily subsidised by Chime and includes: 🏨 Two nights' accommodation 🍽️ All meals 🚗 Parking 👶 On-site childcare during parents' information sessions 💬 Information and support sessions 🤝 Opportunities to meet and connect with other families Cost A payment link will be sent to confirm the booking. €100 per adult €50 per child Babies who are under 16 weeks old on Saturday, 10 October can attend free of charge. They will need to remain with their parent/guardian during the information sessions as they are too young to use the on-site childcare facilities. Please register them for a baby ticket when booking. Children over 16 weeks will need to be registered for the on-site childcare facilities. Childcare is available during the information sessions to allow parents and guardians to attend the presentations with minimal distractions. Separate childcare information forms will be provided closer to the event. A weekend of information, support and connection A new diagnosis can bring lots of questions. Our Newly Diagnosed Weekend is an opportunity to get information, ask questions, meet other families and find out about the supports available to you and your child.
